The purpose of Central Coast Rimfire is to provide an introduction to the shooting sports by providing a safe, inexpensive, and fun atmosphere to shoot steel with .22s. We also strive to provide an environment that fosters growth in a new or experienced shooter's abilities. We encourage the entire family to come out for an afternoon of shooting.

There will be 2 classes, Open and Limited.

Open: All modifications are allowed to be made to your pistol or rifle. For example you are permitted to add a compensator or an optical sight.

Limited: This class is for the guns with iron sights. For example and notch and post type sight or peep hole sight. Basically if your gun does not require batteries and has no scope on it, it is a limited gun.

These are the special recognition categories:

Cowboy/Cowgirl: Single action revolvers and period correct pump action or lever action rifles. Competitor must wear a cowboy hat during the event. Guns must have limited sights on them.

Manually Operated: Pistol must be a double-action revolver and rifle may be either a bolt-action, lever-action, or pump-action rifle. Guns in this category must have limited sights on them.

Top Junior: We would like to recognize the top junior in our competitions.

Top Woman: We would like to recognize the top woman shooter in our match.

If you are unsure about what category your equipment is in, come out and we will help you out.
